Pendants for Jewelry Making: How to Make Your Jewelry Line Stand Out

Pendants are a great way to make your jewelry designs different from what everyone else is making.  Building your own beaded pendants can bring your line of jewelry to new heights & give you that custom look you've been searching for.

Ashley Bunting is our head designer at The Beadin' Path.  Her job is to come up with exciting ways to use new & vintage products that come in.  Sometimes this can be challenging when we have a hole-less metal leaf come in, or a filigree without a traditional bail or hole.  However, Ashley is great at manipulating our jewelry components in new & exciting ideas.  She'll grab a metal hole punch, stack things up you'd never have imagine would have worked together & create a new and exciting pendant.  She'll then write up a jewelry how-to that showcases what she's developed & share each & every tip and trick.

A peek at our Lucite warehouse
We've always tried to carry a different line of offerings than other wholesale bead dealers and retail bead shops.  It wasn't that we had a grand business plan to do so.  But we're all just honestly addicted to digging for treasures and tend to unearth things that can be used in non-traditional ways.

New Flower Filigree Pendant Kit
Stacking our lucite filigree components & metal beads just seems to come naturally.  Our email that went out this week showcased some great new products that work well when making your own stacked pendants.  It also unveiled our newest kit that is making it's debut for the holiday shopping season.  It's designed by, you guessed it, Miss Ashley & will give you a great primer on making a stacked pendant.

Swarovski Crystal
Christmas Tree Earrings
Some other Updates this week: We got in loads of Czech glass beads that are perfect for making the ever-popular beaded angel earrings & beaded Christmas tree earrings for the holiday season.  Reinforcements of the Swarovski crystal components for the 'Crystal Christmas Trees' are on their way as well.

We're REALLY excited to announce - although, this is just a quiet announcement at this point, that we're going to be one of the few exclusive vendors of a new and innovative Piercing & Riveting Tool.  It can take that hole-less piece of vintage metal I talked about above, and make it into something totally beadable & stackable and wonderful.  I'm hoping to have a demo video done this weekend on it because it gives me an excuse to play & do beady things all weekend.

I hope you're all having a great Fall season! - Heather
